No. Of course not! We can speak of 2017 models if we’d like. That’s the beauty of the automotive industry today. Technology is moving so quickly and innovations are advancing so rapidly that the cars being conceived today will be on the road in a few years. The car business is blooming.
For 2016, most manufacturers have at least one new model that’s coming out. Some are brand new to the field, such as the Buick Verano. Most are next generations of previous models. The important thing to see here is that 2016 has a ton of new things coming and this trend is just now getting going. We expect to see the old days of models lasting five or more years going away. Refreshes are coming more often. Even the stalwarts like the Toyota Camry are seeing mid-generation refreshes that pretty much revamped the entire exterior without having to call it a new model generation.
