The Frankfurt Motor Show is scheduled to begin this week and offer us ten days of the best and brightest in the automotive industry.  In anticipation of this event, many automakers will debut offerings that will give us a look at concepts and new vehicles that we can all enjoy in the upcoming years.  What will be the next great offering?  Will we see a car that can drive itself ready for production?  What new technology will we get on the models featured at this show?  With these questions and more in mind, here are ten models that have already been highly anticipated just to whet your appetite.

Volkswagen Tiguan – We know the next generation Tiguan is being built on the MQB platform and has underpinning from the Golf, Audi TT, and A3 to make it a highly anticipated offering.  So far Volkswagen has done a great job of hiding what this vehicle is going to be but the actual photos have not been revealed at all.  Rumor has it the Tiguan will resemble the Cross Coupe GTE, but we won’t know for sure until the show starts.

Jaguar F-Pace – We have already seen images and videos of this new SUV from Jaguar in the prototype version.  At Frankfurt, we will finally get a look at the production model and learn all about its amazing features and specs.  As the first SUV with the Jaguar name on it the expectation is a healthy emphasis on sport and luxury even though off-road capabilities are sure to be aboard as well.

Infiniti Q30 – The Q30 was one of the most intriguing and attractive concept vehicles that showed up for the compact SUV segment.  The low and long lines with a sloping roof and a fantastic amount of great features make the Q30 one that looks like it will be a lot of fun to drive.  This model is to share the platform with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and is expected to be powered by the same 2.0-liter engine.

Ferrari 488 Spider & Lamborghini Huracan Spyder – So the top two exotic car companies chose to cut the tops off their cars, does that really call for an interesting item at the show?  Absolutely, these two will compete for a head to head at the show and will give us a pair of poster fodder cars that will certainly look amazing and offer us the power we have become accustomed to from these two heavy hitters.

Audi e-ontron Quattro Concept – If you wondered if and when someone would top Tesla; it’s here.  Audi will show off their new e-tron Quattro which is a concept SUV that is powered entirely by electricity and offers a range of more than 310 miles on a single charge.  The information out thus far tells us this SUV will be powered by three electric motors and give the SUV a great way to offer a different built than the current Tesla models; and it comes from Audi, not Tesla.

Bentley Bentayga – With a refined styling from the concept the Bentayga is sure to turn many heads and offer an SUV that is certain to carry the highly lauded nameplate forward with sophistication and elegance.  The original design was not received well when it was offered in concept and this newly transformed model is expected to be more of a traditional look and style to turn our heads.

Nissan Crossover Concept – Very little has been leaked about what this new concept will be.  Of course, since this is a crossover unveiling there is a chance this will be a crossover SUV that becomes the first to ever carry the Z badge which represents a model that is full of sport and power.  Once we know for sure then the questions will really begin as to whether or not the Z platform will continue to offer a sports coupe as well.

Ferrari F12 GTO – Even though this GTO has been spotted in all its glory the Frankfurt show is where we get all the specs and get to see this beauty up close and personal.  the F12 is to be the fastest F12 ever with a 770 horsepower engine and a weight loss of 440 pounds in order to make this car a superior speed machine.  The GTO name might be dropped from the car, but it’s still an amazing F12 for us to see.

Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo – These concept cars have been crazy amazing at other shows and now it’s Hyundai’s turn to put one out there that is true “out there”.  This car is going to be the spokes car for the fact that there will be a new performance sub-brand from Hyundai in the near future and details are expected to be revealed at this auto show.  Now we wait and see what craziness this car is.

Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo – Also a crazy offering the Bugatti is expected to be a bit more realistic in its appearance than the Hyundai offers.  As Bugatti works to develop its next awesome car, the Chiron, the unveiling is not expected as of yet but instead showcases the car that prowls the streets in the video game world allowing gamers the chance to dream of actually driving a Bugatti.
