While the sales of the twenty S60 Polestar models from Volvo that were offered through a subscription system sold out in only 39 minutes, it easy to see why. This amazing car is one that has the power desired, the quality needed, and the name to go along with it. As the new sub-brand from Volvo, the Polestar brand is created to allow Volvo to experience the following and the status of a brand that has a limited number of powerful vehicles to be purchased and enjoyed during the drive.
What is the new Volvo S60 Polestar
This new car is one that has the look, the drive, and the ride you want when you head out on the road. Unfortunately, there are only twenty customers in the US who will have that particular privilege. The S60 Polestar is being powered by the T8 engine that’s been upgraded to enjoy 15 horsepower more than the standard T8 engine found in the Volvo lineup. This car also receives an upgraded Ohlins Suspension, gold Brembo brakes, a Polestar Engineered strut brace, and much more in order to give you the drive you’re looking for on the road.
As Volvo begins to build this brand new car, it will be built in South Carolina rather than at the Sweden Volvo plant. Along with the new car that’s offered in extremely limited models, the Volvo team is offering the Polestar Engineered package on other 60 Series Volvos that aren’t made in the US. This means the V60 wagon could be ordered with this package and the XC60 SUV can also experience the benefits of this package in order to give you the drive you want and the upgraded performance that makes driving more fun for you on the road.
The Subscription Packages
Those who chose to and were able to sign up for the new S60 Polestar from Volvo were able to order the T6 AWD Momentum subscription for a price of $775 per month and the S60 T6 AWD R-Design that costs $850 per month. This car is one that’s made to be able to do what you need it to so that you can have a fantastic ride. Hopefully, Volvo will choose to offer another round of subscriptions in the near future so that we can have more on the road, but if not, this limited number is certainly a great place to start.
