1969 Ford Torino Talladega “GPT Special” Made By Rad Rides
The 1969 Ford Torino Talladega brings more muscle and aerodynamics to the Torino name than the regular model. The original version used a 7.0-liter Super Cobra Jet V8 engine that delivered 335 horsepower, a great number for the time. Of course, power was exactly what Rad Rides added to this car with a Boss 429 engine that produced 750 horsepower. The team at Rad Rides improved the exterior to give this car an amazing look.
1973 Oldsmobile 442 Made By Schwartz
The classic Oldsmobile 442 is a classic muscle car with a massive V8 engine. This Rocket V8 delivered 270 horsepower and 370 lb-ft of torque when originally offered. While this was good power for the time, it’s not enough by today’s standards. Turing this 442 into a restomd meant adding an LS engine to produce 900 horsepower while maintaining the style of the original car. This car brings the heat with incredible power and the classic looks we love.
1964 Volvo P1800 Built By Cyan Racing
This creation takes a classic Volvo sports car and adds more than just a modern engine. This car also includes parts made of space-age materials to bring a stronger chassis, stiffer ride, and wider body to fit the bigger wheels than what the original car wore. In true Volvo fashion, a small 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine delivers 420 horsepower and 336 lb-ft of torque while offering a classic 5-speed manual transmission to make driving enthusiasts happy. This car has a classic ride quality because Cyan Racing didn’t add stability control or an antilock braking system.
Porsche 956C Made By Canape
Canape turned a legend into a modern-day restomod. This creation is the Porsche 956C which increases the power and the entire drive. Canape disassembles every part of a car and rebuilds the car by improving as many components as possible. The result of applying this process to the Porsche 956C gives us a high-performance car with more than 700 horsepower and 635 lb-t of torque while making use of an enhanced suspension. This car is quick, powerful, and fun on any track.
Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen 250GD “Wolf” Created By EMC
Expedition Motor Company (EMC) created an incredibly improved and altered G-Wagen called Wolf. This new version of the go-anywhere G-Wagen is a vehicle that was originally made for military use, but it includes amazing upgrades and features. The Wolf includes creature comforts that make this big SUV comfortable and fun to drive. EMC takes classic G-Wagens and applies the Wolf packaging to them to make them right for some off-road adventures in the wilderness.
1972 Chevrolet K50 Crew Cab “The Duke” Made By RTech
RTech brought this incredible classic truck to the 2017 SEMA Show, giving the crowd a restomod delight. This amazing truck is called “The Duke,” and it brings a truck that can really deliver the power and truck stuff we admire. Once RTech got hold of this monster, it went from a regular cab truck to one with a crew cab build, a tilt bed, an upscale interior, air conditioning, and a 550 horsepower Cummins diesel engine. That’s quite a package for a classic truck.
1982 Land Cruiser FJ40 Created By Legacy Overland
Toyota vehicles have been used in overlanding for decades, which makes upgrading a classic Land Cruiser to an even better off-road vehicle an impressive accomplishment. The team at Legacy Overland changed the character of this SUV without altering the exterior. They added a 5.7-liter V8 engine to the mix to give this impressive SUV more power. You’ll also notice air conditioning, a USB port, Sirius XM, and other upgrades in the cabin that make it more comfortable and modern.
