The only vehicle in the Chrysler lineup is the Pacifica. This minivan packs in the features and offers powertrain options to make it one of the top choices.

The Chrysler name has dwindled down to a single model, but that model is pretty important and impressive. Among family haulers, the Pacifica is an excellent choice, making it easy for you to have the quality drive you want and an excellent package of great features. This van comes in gas-only and plug-in hybrid variants to give you the choices you want when you’re looking for a great vehicle to carry your family to their destination.

Classic seating and cleaning versatility

The Pacifica is one of the few vehicles in the entire market that can be had with a built-in vacuum. You won’t need to wait until you get home or stop at an overpriced car wash to clean up the mess the kids make in the back seat. Instead, use the vacuum during your next stop for gas and keep your cabin clean.

If you need more room for gear, the Pacific does something with the seats that most minivans can’t do. The rear two rows of seats fold into the floor, giving you the Stow ‘n Go seating you want to open the cavernous area in the back to carry your stuff. These seats aren’t available with the PHEV powertrain, but if you choose the gas-only model, you’ll have these seats.

The trimmed lineup you want

Instead of providing you with several trims to choose from, the Chrysler Pacifica comes in three trims: Select, Limited, and Pinnacle. The Limited models are gas-only, but the other two trims can be had with the hybrid powertrain. The base model comes standard with more stuff, including:

    • Premium carpeting
    • Auto-dimming rearview mirror
    • Second-row one-touch windows

The S Appearance package is now standard on the Limited model and part of the Premium Group, which is available for the hybrid Select trim. Some of what you’ll find in the Premium Group are:

      • Safety Sphere Group
        • Parking sensors
        • Park assist
        • 360-degree camera system
      • Uconnect Theater and Sound Group
      • Integrated center console with wireless smartphone charging
      • Dual-pane sunroof

How much power do you get?

The Pacific isn’t made for high-performance and high-powered fun, but it is made to get things done. The gas-only models use the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that makes 287 horsepower and is attached to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Hybrid model makes 260 horsepower and can drive for up to 33 miles using only electric power. The Pacifica can tow up to 3,600 pounds when properly equipped, making it a useful minivan that could bring everything you need to your destination.

Check out the cabin

The cabin area of every Chrysler Pacifica is spacious, airy, and packed with places to put stuff. Whether you need a cubby for your small items or a cupholder for your drink, you’ll find it. There are even some slide-out bins that make it easy to store items away until you need them. You’ll also enjoy the impressive connectivity, comfortable seats, and attractive styling that makes the cabin look more upscale than it actually is.

If you choose the Pinnacle trim, you’ll have the comfort of quilted leather upholstery along with some matching lumbar pillows for the second-row captain’s chairs. These pillows give the Pacifica a little more comfort than all other minivans.

Get connected to an amazing system

The Pacifica utilizes the Uconnect 5 infotainment system, which is presented to you on a 10.1-inch touchscreen that has climate control vents as its frame. This system has a reconfigurable home screen, Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Your connection is wireless, making it easy to enjoy the connection without the need to take your charging cord along with you. There’s also a Wi-Fi hotspot that can make it easy for you’re and your passengers to use the internet while on the road.

If you want to add something useful for your rear-seat passengers, there’s a rear-seat entertainment system that makes it easy for your passengers to enjoy movies and TV using the embedded streaming apps. The Pacifica has up to 12 USB ports throughout the cabin, which makes it easy for devices to remain charged.
