Those that choose to attend the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week will be shown an amazing list of models that are built right and offer the qualities desired to make sure they can capture our attention. We already knew this booth would be a place where there would be four new hot hatch models that would show up and show off with what we’re looking for. There will be three Ford Focus RS models and one Focus ST that make the four that are built and tuned to offer the fun and excitement we want to see.
Here’s What Ford is Bringing:
Blood Type Racing – This tuning team had the pleasure of working on the sole Ford Focus ST and making it the one they’ve decided will be offered in a gorgeous Midnight Purple paint. This car shows up with a FullRace turbo kit, a Ford Performance exhaust, an Air Lift Performance air suspension, a large Wilwood brake kit to give it the stopping power desired, a Rally Innovations splitter kit and rear hatch wing. There’s also a roof rack system offered with this car that will roll in on 19-inch B-Forged Performance wheels that wear Toyo T1 Sports tires.
The Tri- Athlete – This impressive Ford Focus RS hot hatch has been created to make it possible for the car to perform well at the drag strip, on a road course, and on the many twisty backroads that make up a large amount of our country. This car wears a sinister matte black finish that’s offered as the backdrop for some airbrush art you’ll admire. This car wears lightweight carbon fiber pieces from Anderson Composites, a performance series suspension from Air Lift, a Ford Performance exhaust, a COBB Tuning carbon fiber cold air intake, a levels Performance intercooler, and Forgestar CF5 wheels that wear a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The UTI Project – In collaboration with Universal Technical Institute the next RS offered a Bright Axalta Pennzoil yellow model that has a full list of items as well. This car sits in 19-inch Rotiform wheels that wear Falken tires. Other upgrades include Anderson Composites carbon fiber body accessories, an intake, intercooler and piping from FullRace, coilovers that come from BC Racing to improve the handling and ride height, Baer brakes that are able to give the car the stopping power needed, along with a carbon fiber shift knob, instrument cluster, and window switch cover.
The Rally Model – Finally, we see a Ford Focus RS that’s been upgraded to be one that’s inspired by Rally racing with Montune parts including a high-flow induction kit, a full intercooler upgrade, a Borla set of exhaust pipes, a Ford Performance S-Type exhaust, a set of RS-R Sports-I coilovers, 19-inch OZ Racing Superturismo GT wheels under the car, and a wrap for the body that comes from Rolotech.
All four of these cars are offered for us to see among the more than fifty on displays from Ford, but these four are sure to capture your attention and impress you.
