Every year there is a meetup of cars that we would all love to attend. This is a gathering of some of the most expensive supercars in the world and it’s held at a track that’s become the right place for these cars and their team to gather and have a great time challenging each other on the track. While this isn’t a race to the finish, as it would certainly cost a lot more than most car owners want to pay, this is a gathering and a showcase where you can see one of the most impressive collections of vehicles on the planet.
It’s no surprise that every race on some of the highest circuits in the world gives us a look at millions of dollars’ worth of cars on the track, but these cars are racing around trying to outmaneuver each other and head to the finish line. During these races, the beauty of the machines is obscured by the similarity in the build and the sponsor stickers that cover these cars that area heading around the track to race toward the finish where the prize awaits.
The annual event that brings the collection of supercars to the track is held in the Netherlands, which makes it convenient for most supercar manufacturers to get their wares to the track for the exhibition. This is a location that has become popular for this event and has become the gathering place for many who want to see cars on the track that they have only ever seen in videos, pictures or hanging on their wall as the poster in their garage. This gathering is a lot of fun and certainly exciting as you can see from the video below.
The event at the TT Circuit Assen is called “Supercar Sunday” and it is an event for the owners to gather and drive around the track. This means if you can get an entry and you happen to own a supercar, you could be part of the exhibition and show off your amazing car at this track. This is yet another reason why the cars aren’t racing each other to the finish line, but instead are giving us a cruising tour of the track that allows us to admire exactly what these cars are and how they offer what we’re going to enjoy at the event.
The list of cars offered on the track that was part of this event included names such as the Pagani Huayra, McLaren P1, Bugatti Veyron, Koenigsegg Agera, Ferrari LaFerrari, and a brand new Lamborghini Huracan Performance. This amazing collection of cars can only tickle your imagination as these owners found a way to pull their prized possessions out of cobwebs in the show garage they own and let them loose on the track; well, relatively loose at least. This showcase is one that should be on the bucket list for nearly every supercar enthusiast in the world.
Even if you can’t make your way to the Netherlands to check out this amazing gathering of supercars you can enjoy the video below that offers you a look at what the gathering offered and how the different cars that showed up were able to show off to impress us with the look and feel that we want. Take a look at this video and enjoy the event as it unfolded to give you the sights and sounds from this even that has to be a dream destination for you and every other car lover in the world.
