One of the reasons that we originally formed Dealer Authority was to make sure that we stayed specialized. It’s a common trend in the automotive industry for vendors to branch out and try to offer to much. If you’re trying to be good at everything, you’ll never be great at anything.
We want to be great at the things we do and let others be great at the things that they do. We don’t have to do everything. We know that we can be dominant for our clients in the disciplines of automotive search engine optimization, social media marketing, and content marketing. We don’t build websites, though we have relationships that do. We don’t do reputation management, though we have relationships with companies that do. We don’t do CRM, PPC, classified listings, 3rd-party lead generation, coupons, graphic design, or anything else, really, but we know people who do.
This site is designed to focus on one of the three core services for Dealer Authority: automotive SEO. That’s it. We won’t be talking much about social, websites, or anything else except in how they apply to achieving better search rankings.
One might say that we have three primary disciplines and are therefore spread too thin. The reality is that the three we focus upon are actually components of a singular, holistic strategy. You can’t do SEO with social media. You can’t do social media without content. You can’t do content without search rankings. It all fits together very nicely.
