Is it time to elevate your adventures? Plenty of vehicles are available that can tackle rough terrain and make easy work of even the toughest trails, but only one SUV will do all this and give you a luxurious ride. The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser provides a solid combination of utility and luxury.
Lots of Power and A Stabile Ride
One of the most exciting things about the new Land Cruiser is its performance. It uses Toyota’s new 2.4-liter i-Force MAX turbo four-cylinder hybrid engine to nudge it along. It puts out 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, which is a significant increase over the previous and discontinued model.
The full-time four-wheel drive features a locking differential and crawl control, which means you have a cruise control system for off-roading.
Three Trims to Choose From
The latest Land Cruiser comes in three different trim levels. They all have the same engine, but other differences that make each of them appealing to a certain audience. The entry-level 1954 is a great choice for drivers who don’t do any extreme off-roading. Up next are the Land Cruiser and the First Edition trims. These have 33-inch tires that are better for off-road terrain and a disconnecting anti-roll bar along with Toyota’s Multi-Terrain Select system that allows the driver to moderate their traction control.
The First Edition is the most well-equipped for off-road driving. It adds rock rails and upgrades the underbody skid plates to help protect all the important components while you’re on your adventure.
A Tech-Filled Cabin
Whether you’re sticking to the road or heading to the trails, you’ll want your tech at your fingertips. The 2024 Land Cruiser has an 8-inch touchscreen that comes loaded with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you need to plug in a laptop or an accessory, the household-style power outlet will come in handy.
The Land Cruiser and the First Edition bump up their tech games with a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system and a fully digital instrument panel. If you want to turn up the volume when your favorite song comes up in your playlist, the 10-speaker stereo system will make it sound better than ever.
Safety Always Matters
Vehicles, whether they’re designed to stay on the road or take you over the trail less traveled, are safer than ever. Safety technology just keeps improving. The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is a perfect example of this. It comes with Toyota Safety Sense 3.0. The latest and greatest version of Toyota’s safety suite.
What does this mean? It means you have a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist to help ensure you stay in your lane, and full-speed adaptive cruise control. Every new Land Cruiser also has a blind-spot warning system and front and rear parking sensors that do more than beep at you when something is in your way. This system will even apply the brakes to help you avoid hitting it.
