Exploring the Electrifying Lineup: GMC Terrain, Acadia, Yukon, and Hummer EV SUV

Every year brings updates and new features to the GMC lineup, and 2024 is no different. If you’re looking for a new SUV, a GMC will bring you everything you need and more. From the compact GMC Terrain to the full-size Yukon and the Acadia in between, there is something for everyone, but what is new with each of these for the latest model year? Where are the biggest changes? Take a look.

The GMC Terrain Still Going Strong

If you liked the 2023 GMC Terrain, you’ll like the 2024 just as much. It has one significant update and just a few minor updates, and they come in the form of an added safety system and some new exterior paint colors. You can now get it in Riptide Metallic and Downpour Metallic. Other than this, the Terrain still has its turbo four-cylinder engine, nine-speed automatic transmission, and upscale-feeling cabin. Its suspension is made for long highway driving, giving passengers a comfortable ride for as long as they want to stay on the road. The latest Terrain now offers the GMC Pro Safety Plus Package with blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, and rear cross-traffic alert.

An All-New GMC Acadia

The Acadia is completely redesigned for the new model year. This is the GMC SUV with the biggest changes. It has upgraded tech, a new style, and even a new engine. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine now sits under the hood, and it powers a taller, wider, and better-looking Acadia. Inside, some of the trims now have a 15-inch touchscreen, and you can get the Acadia with a fully digital instrument cluster. What’s even better is that highway driving in the Acadia can be made almost stress-free with the optional Super Cruise hands-free driving technology.

The Big and Bold GMC Yukon

The GMC Yukon received a refresh last year, so this year’s model carries over without any updates. The Denali Ultimate that GMC introduced last year is still worth checking out. It has full-grain leather upholstery, open-pore wood accents, and all the features and tech you can ever want in an SUV. This SUV has a 10.2-inch touchscreen, Google Maps for a navigation system, and a standard Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Electric GMC Hummer EV SUV

The Hummer EV SUV is an all-new model for 2024. It takes everything drivers love about the Hummer pickup truck EV and puts it into a package that’s slightly shorter and has room for five. This GMC SUV has unbeatable off-road capabilities, it can crab walk, and a powertrain that delivers 830 horsepower and 1,200 pounds of torque. If you’re wondering how far an SUV of this size can go on electric power, there’s no need for concern. It has a battery pack that gives it up to 300 miles of range.
There’s never been a better time to buy a GMC SUV. From the small GMC Terrain to one of the larger models or the all-electric Hummer, you get the capability, versatility, and features you want. And since it’s a GMC, you can also count on reliability and a vehicle that feels upscale.
