Following a Project Build

There have been stories upon stories of cars that are built as projects that have been completed in garages around the world to turn a vehicle from one that’s roughed up and tough to handle into one that looks amazing on the road. You’ve heard of and seen some people load up a car that doesn’t work at all to take it home and start to turn the car into something special and rejuvenated. This is certainly a labor of love, but those that build their own cars tend to have a stronger connection to the vehicle than the rest of us who haven’t done this.

The Porsche 911 is a car that has a unique history in the automotive world and a place in the market that makes it one of the most highly recognized and admired cars to make its way to the roads and tracks we enjoy on a regular basis. This is also a car that has had more of the original models that were built continue to drive on the roads than any other car name. Some of this is due to the fact that many of these project builders love to use the Porsche 911 to be the labor of love.

The Video You Want to See

When you take a look at the video below you’ll see a special 911 RSE build that is completed from start to finish, minus the installation of the specialized engine, in only four and a half minutes. This build video is the result of time-lapse footage that’s put together by the owner and builder of this amazing Porsche. the actual time from the start of the project to its completion took 18 months but the results are certainly worth the time and expense when you see the car at the end of the video.

As you watch through the times and the moments of the video you see the car being taken apart, rust being repaired, the engine rebuild, the interior being completely redone and upgraded, the brakes being rebuilt, and all the trim getting a new finish added to them. This car took the owner a lot of time and energy but is certainly a car that can be a lot of fun to drive from this project owner when he takes it out on the road for a fun time around town.

At the end of the video, you can see this is a car that’s perfect and ready to get out on the road once the new engine is put back in the car. Does this make you want to find a car and begin the rebuild on your own? Does this make you wish you had the skills and the desire to build such a gorgeous Porsche 911 of your own? There’s no doubt this owner is extremely proud of what he’s accomplished and created from a pile of scraps that was hardly recognizable when the project first began.
